Confidence - What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?

What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? Maybe its to start off outrageous goals like play for England and win the world cup or to becoming the best actor in the world. Maybe its more of an extreme goal climb mount Everest, run a marathon or do a sky dive .

What if these goals were a bit more realistic and achievable? How about start the business you have always dreamed of or getting the girl or guy of your dreams. You may still look at those goals and still think they are unachievable. Most of us have some kind of dream trapped within us that has somehow become stifled by the fear of failure.

So, yes, it’s good to think about this question and bring your answer's to the surface.

The problem, though, is that most things that are worth doing involve a real possibility of failure. Marriages and relationships sometimes fail, businesses fail, even top athletes get injured and miss the big games. A big goal, like the ones above always involves a certain degree of risk.

So now ask yourself this question… What’s truly worth doing, whether you fail or succeed?

So lets take an example of meeting the love of your life. Now you may be very very lucky and the first person you meet turns out to be the love of your life. Chances are good that they are not. Chances are good that you will have to go through a minefield of rejections and kissing a lot of frogs to get there. So firstly we have to assess the risk vs reward. Risk - the actual feeling of getting rejected by a few hot girls/guys, going on bad dates or even falling in love with someone and finding out they dont feel the same. Yes these risks can sound harrowing but when you compare them to the reward

Reward - Find the love of your life and soul mate - I think that would outweigh all the risks when that happens And believe me it does happen, you just need to go through the rejections and failures.

Consider SMART GOALS as well. (SMART - specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time based)

By asking yourself these questions it can really help you assess what you want in life and push yourself through the failures to hit your dream goal.
